We are happy to welcome you to Carlsbad by the Sea and we're glad that you've come to live here.  We are a caring community, and we look forward to getting to know you better as friends and neighbors.

If you haven't been contacted already, you will soon be visited by a representative from our Residents' Hospitality Committee, chaired by Jane Shaw, who will tell you about various aspects of life here.  Additionally, staff will provide an Orientation Meeting sometime after your arrival; orientations are scheduled as soon as there is a sufficient number of new people to justify the gathering.
